DUE TO COVID-19 AND SOCIAL DISTANCING, WE HAVE A NEW DATE FOR OUR EVENT

21-22 APRIL 2021

POSTPONEMENT OF OWC2020

Like many of you, we have been closely monitoring the coronavirus situation and the possible impact on Team Humber Marine Alliance as well as its members and partners. Following a meeting of our board of directors, and in consultation with our sponsors, we have decided to postpone OWC 2020 until April 2021. The new dates for the event will be 21-22 April the venue will be the Aura Innovation Centre.

We apologise for any inconvenience and we would like to emphasise that we have not taken this decision lightly. Over the years, Offshore Wind Connections has grown into an event which attracts national and international delegates, and in the interests of all our visitors, we are heeding advice and recommendations from government agencies as well as taking travel restrictions into account.

If you have already purchased tickets or booked exhibition space for OWC 2020, these will remain valid for the new April dates. If you require a refund, please contact Mary Green, operations manager at Team Humber Marine Alliance on  +44 (0) 7590 963378 marygreen@thma.co.uk

Thank you for your understanding of this situation and we look forward to seeing you in next April.

 About Offshore Wind Connections 2021

The eighth Team Humber Marine Alliance annual offshore conference and exhibition will take place  on the 21-22 April. It's the event for all those interested in the rapidly growing offshore wind sector in the North Sea and beyond.

OWC 2019 saw over 350 delegates attend and over 45 companies exhibit with a fantastic speaker line-up!   For 2020 the event will be even better with more space for exhibitors and delegates!

OFFSHORE WIND CONNECTIONS 2021 (OWC 2021) will offer the chance to network with key players from across the offshore wind sector.

The Yorkshire & Humber region is rapidly becoming the epicentre of the industry with billions of pounds to be invested in onshore and offshore infrastructure. The region provides the best location to access to all three of the UK’s largest wind farms and 80% of all North Sea offshore wind farms and 60% of the entire European market (2020) are within 12 hours steaming.

Event Overview

Thought leaders and key industry figures will discuss the latest developments in the industry including updates on key projects from developers, government organisations, manufacturers, port operators, marine support, vessel owners and operations and maintenance service providers.

The conference will include contributions from guest speakers which will compliment workshops and panel discussions on specific subjects held throughout both days. On the afternoon of the 21st we will hold a RenewableUK Connect networking event to celebrate and showcase the region as “the” centre for this burgeoning industry. A celebratory reception and dinner will be held at on the evening of the 21st April (venue tbc).

Why get involved?

  • High profile event which attracts regional, national and international delegates
  • Key industry speakers include
  • Network with hundreds of delegates at the conference, dinner and networking events
