Purpose:

This session is for companies interested in breaking into the offshore renewables sector or already working in the sector but looking to improve their market awareness.

This training is designed to provide all participants with a greater understanding of the offshore wind industry. Participants will learn about the UK wind resources, prices and market.

In addition to this, participants will be provided with an overview of a typical offshore wind farm. The knowledge gained from completing this module will allow the participants to build a picture of where their product or service fits into the offshore wind Industry.

This training is open to all and delivered as part of the 'Connect' business support catalyst project.

'Connect' Overview:

Connect is an industry-backed, six-month, business support catalyst project designed to support East of England companies looking to bring a product or service to the renewable energy market.

The purpose of Connect is to enable supply chain companies to derisk their innovation by increasing their understanding of market needs and collaboration across the supply chain.
