NORWEP Offshore Wind Market Report Roadshow - Arendal

Following its report "Norwegian supply chain opportunities in offshore wind", released in August, Norwegian Energy Partners has also commissioned its advisors, BVG Associates, to develop a Global Market Report and a detailed description of several significant development projects being developed over the next years.

The European market is the cradle of the industry and with more than 80% of current offshore wind deployment and expenditure predicted to reach EUR 90 billion over the next five years it is, together with other expansive markets such as China, Taiwan and the US, an interesting offering to Norwegian industry.

Offshore wind is now a proven technology and cost is rapidly reduced to approach a pure commercial stage. The combination of global growth and a desire to reduce costs makes offshore wind hugely appealing for an innovative Norwegian supply chain with its strong offshore and maritime expertise.
