Making Effective Assessment Decisions

This session will guide providers through the full process of planning and delivering assessments, as well as ensuring effective internal and external quality assurance.

Delegates will:

• Gain a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of assessors and Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs).
• Learn how to implement assessment and quality assurance processes in line with Open Awards requirements.
• Explore examples of assessed learner work, with opportunities for group discussion around assessment decisions and outcomes.

By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to apply robust and compliant assessment practices within their organisations.
