Ofsted: Preparation for Inspection

This highly interactive masterclass will provide critical information, advice and guidance to training providers and colleges preparing for an Ofsted inspection.
Caroline Murphy and Jacquie Williams from Dawn Hodge Associates will outline the approach they take that has enabled them to maintain their Grade 1 status in Spring 2016 under the new Common Inspection Framework.
Through participative tasks, delegates will be encouraged to contextualise the experience of DH Associates to their own organisations/circumstances. There will be a particular focus on undertaking internal quality reviews, how the team can work together to achieve a common vision, learning from the experience and Ofsted reports of other training providers.

Caroline Murphy is Managing Director DH Associates and has worked in the learning and development sector for 23 years, joining DH Associates in 2004. She led DH Associates in their most recent Ofsted inspection under the new standards and in their first inspection in 2010 - both inspections resulted in a grade of Outstanding in all areas.
Caroline specialises in the delivery of learning to the Care Sector, assisting DH Associates to be shortlisted for the Skills for Care Accolade Best Provider of Learning and Development in 2007, 2014 and 2016. DH Associates went on the win the accolade in 2007 and 2016. Her prior roles were managing learning and development in a local authority. Her professional background is in social work.
Jacquie Williams is Team Manager DH Associates. Jacquie Williams has worked at DH Associates for 9 years. Jacquie has been part of Ofsted Inspection in an assessor role and team manager role.
