Event description

Description

There has been a lot of talk about Apprenticeships lately and we're not at all surprised... They're big news and are win-wins for everyone involved.

They're a great way in for people who are looking to further develop their skills in industry and want to get hands-on experience, and they're great for businesses who are looking for new talent to join their team and are looking for a cost-effective way to invest in their future workforce.

So, to dispel old myths and how apprenticeships have been viewed historically... We're collaborating with Digital Skills Partnership to share with you all the details you need to know about what Apprenticeships look like in 2018, what the new Levy means for your business - big or small - and how to become an Apprentice for those who are considering apprenticeships as their career path into the industry.

Who is on the panel?

Joe McGrath, Digital Skills Partnership

Dr. Joe McGrath has worked in senior executive positions, undertaken large-scale consultancy projects, been involved in a variety of digital start-up companies and was also Principal Lecturer in Marketing at LJMU from 2010 to 2017.
