Description

OH tour of St Paul’s Cathedral - with an official volunteer OH Guide.

The Tour will take place at 10.30am on Tuesday 22nd May 2018.

Cost £20 pp which includes a small donation to St Paul’s. This will comprise a general tour of the main floor and the crypt (and a couple of extras which you can only access with a St Paul's Guide) and specific Haileybury related items of interest including:

1) Monument to Sir Henry Bartle Frere

2) Ledger stone covering where Sir Henry and his wife are buried

3) Monument to Sir Henry Lawrence (who died in the Siege of Lucknow in July 1857)

4) Attlee’s involvement with Winston Churchill’s funeral

The tour is for a maximum of 20 people and should take around 90 minutes to 2 hours and guests can then attend the Eucharist service at 12.30pm (before lunch) if they wish. Depending on numbers signing up we will consider arrangements for lunch in the crypt (to be paid by guests themselves on the day). Guests are welcome to stay after lunch to look around further by themselves, including climbing to the Whispering Gallery and higher outside Galleries to the Cathedral with their magnificent views over London.

Administrative arrangements for the tour, including where to meet and security aspects will be confirmed nearer the time.

Please note that you do not need to print the tickets from the Eventbrite website.

As numbers are limited do please sign up early to avoid disappointment!
