Highlights from the programme
It’s a big world and we want to see it all
With a pan industry focus, the Summit will bring together speakers from games, film, TV, audio, social media and charity. Discussions will look at how content creators are authentically representing difficult subject matters and how audiences are engaging with them.
The big questions: what do audiences care about?
Focusing on health, poverty, migration and climate change, we will look at new ways to evolve how entertainment engages with big issues. We’ll seek to understand what’s working, the opportunities to move forward and how working together with charities can create a bigger impact and support ideas for creative content collaborations.
Genre deep dives
One size doesn’t fit all. The OKRE Summit will present case studies and new approaches to weaving societal issues through storylines; from continuing drama to true crime to comedy, we look at different ways to help audiences discover common ground.
