Introducing Chesham Fringe Festival: a three-day Entertainment Extravaganza

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of arts, culture and entertainment at the inaugural Chesham Fringe Festival, taking place across the late May Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 25th to Monday 27th May 2024.

Modelled on the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Chesham Fringe Festival promises to bring a vibrant array of local, national and international talent and creativity to this Buckinghamshire town at the end of the Metropolitan Line, providing entertainment for all and an important boost to local businesses.

Chesham Fringe Festival will run across three days, seeing the innovative town of Chesham come alive with the sound of laughter, music and the magic of the performing arts and the opportunity to experience acts preparing to perform in Edinburgh. With a diverse lineup including comedy, music, theatre, cabaret, spoken word, book and poetry readings and more, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The festival will feature a variety of acts performing across multiple venues strategically scattered within a one-mile radius from the centre of Chesham, creating a vibrant cultural hub spanning from Chesham United Football Club to the renowned Elgiva Theatre.

To make the Chesham Fringe Festival experience even more enjoyable, a dedicated team of volunteers, affectionately known as "Fringe Makers," will be on hand to guide and support visitors throughout the event.

Mark Rann from the Organising Committee quoted “Whilst Chesham Fringe 2024 promises to be a phenomenal launch event, our vision extends beyond next year. We are committed to establishing Chesham Fringe as an annual tradition to enrich our community's cultural tapestry and foster local and national artistic talent, both new and well-established.

Behind the scenes, we are working tirelessly to curate a lineup of amazing acts, bands, and performers to dazzle and captivate audiences. Our goal is to ensure the resounding success of Chesham Fringe and to provide unforgettable entertainment for all”.

The Chesham Fringe Festival 2024 Organising Committee is bursting with excitement and enthusiasm for what promises to be an extraordinary cultural celebration.
