3:30-5:30: Xmas card-making workshop with Lauren Emily Star

I am a visual artist with 10 years experience working in mixed media, installation and print making. A lot of my work is about expressing my queer, mad and other identities. I have studio space with Pool Arts in Ardwick and am a member and trustee of Pool Arts charity. I run workshops in order to share my skills around creativity and exploring identity.

The workshop I am planning involves making cards using collage and possibly some mixed media if women want to experiment. I will bring materials to allow us to express queer and intersectional identities in our art making (or to make traditional cards if preferred!!).

I am a lesbian with other marginal identities. I am not an older woman (I am 38). However, I hope to be in a few years and I am happy to discuss with and learn from workshop participants!
