Barts Pathology Museum is a Grade II Listed medical museum on the site of St Bartholomew's Hospital, and part of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FMD) at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). It was built in 1879 for the express purpose of housing anatomical specimens to be used by those studying medicine, and is still in use by QMUL's medical students today, for teaching, exams and study. The museum is therefore only open to the public, alumni and other interested parties for scheduled events organised around academic usage. As a result, these events sell out quickly. To be placed on the mailing list to hear about any open days, workshops or evening lectures email bartspathology@qmul.ac.uk. For further information on similar museums which open to the public, see our page on London Museums of Health and Medicine at medicalmuseums.org.

The museum, on the 3rd Floor of the Robin Brook Centre, is accessible via a lift, but there are 7 steps which lead into the museum itself which are not accessible. For more information on accessibility, parking and facilities, and for FAQs, please visit our website
