Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Teme Valley, our beloved Ceilidh Night returns to the heart of our farm and cider mill at Oldfields!

Rooted in rich tradition dating back to the 19th century, Ceilidhs—from the Gaelic word for "gathering" or "party"—celebrate community, music, and joyful dancing. Today, they’re a lively fusion of Scottish, Irish, and English folk music, bringing people together for a night of toe-tapping fun.

A Ceilidh dance is all about fun, not footwork. A Caller will talk you through the dance before you begin and there’s always a helpful soul on the dance floor who’ll point you in the right direction. The beauty of a Ceilidh is that everyone can take part, young or old, experienced dancers, beginners and even those with two left feet. No experience is necessary!

Come and join us for a magical evening of music, laughter, and dancing, surrounded by great company and the natural charm of the Teme Valley. Swing, jig, and laugh the night away!

Tickets are available direct from the farm for £12 adult, £6 child (12 and under) and £3 camping. If you would prefer not to use Eventbrite, just email oldfieldsfarm@outlook.com to book.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to print my ticket off?

You do not need to print your ticket. We have a list of all ticket holders at the front gate and will be able to find your ticket without a printout. You just need to know the name of the ticket holder.

Will tickets be available at the gate?

Due to this being a limited-capacity event, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to dance, no tickets will be available at the gate.

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be locally sourced hot food available from Zoe Crumpet - think burgers, hot dogs, etc.

Can I bring my own drink?

You cannot bring your own drink to the event. Any drink seen by staff that has not been purchased on-site may be confiscated. We are a small, growing business and our bar is reasonably priced.

Is there parking available?

There is plenty of parking available on-site. Parking is free for all vehicles except live-in vehicles. Live-in vehicles must have a camping pass for admission.

What are the campsite and main area opening times?

Campers may arrive from 17:00 to get set-up. Non-campers may arrive from 18:00 when the main area opens. Please do not arrive before our gates open as we will not be able to admit you. The main area is open: 18:00 – 23:00.

What facilities are available?

Main area: There are multiple toilets located in the main area. Campsite: There is one toilet located in the campsite, along with a safe drinking water point. There are no permanent wash facilities available. All toilets are standard festival portaloos.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed at the event as we are a working farm.

Do you accept cash and card payments?

Both cash and card payments are accepted. However, we do recommend having some cash on hand in case the card machines are not working.
