Oldfields Cider Wassail 2026
Overview
The Oldfields Cider Wassail returns to bless our apple harvest for 2026!
Wassailing is an ancient tradition performed to ensure a good harvest of cider apples in the coming year. If you have never been to a Wassail before then we promise you will not forget it in a hurry.
The Leominster Morris will lead a flaming torchlit procession into our orchard, where the Wassail will take place. Once the trees have been blessed and after some great entertainment, The Leominster Morris will lead us back to the bar to perform their Mummers' play.
Our bar will be stocking the full Oldfields Cider range including hot mulled cider! Plus wine, gin, beer, soft drinks and more. Hot food will be available. Both cash and card are accepted at the bar and food stall.
All are welcome to carry a torch during the orchard procession. Torches will be available to buy at the event (for cash only).
Warm/waterproof clothes and footwear are a must! Please bring gloves if you would like to carry a torch with the procession.
Please arrive promptly from 6pm to allow yourself time to park, get a drink/food and a torch ahead of the procession. We will aim to start sometime between 6.30-7pm. It is important to be on time as no cars will be allowed to enter once the procession has started.
