Event description

Description

Oliver Lomax is a thirty-three year old poet from Bolton. He recently published and launched his first collection 18 Poems (published by Dylan’s Bookstore Salubrious House Swansea) at The Laugharne Festival in South Wales. The book has illustrated by the artist Dan Llywelyn Hall who produced a series of paintings in response to the poems.

Oliver will read from this new collection in addition to other poems and will be signing copies of the book at this event.

‘Oliver is a great poet, imagine a mix of Simon Armitage, Allan Bennett and Jarvis Cocker all rolled into one, he can do it all and is defiantly one to watch.’ Jeff Townes

Support will come from Damien Riley of Ourfold who will perform some acoustic versions of tracks from their new album.
