Westwoodhill Evangelical Church are hosting Searchlight Theatre's Oliver With a Christmas Twist This is a festive, child-friendly musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist for primary school children, focusing on Oliver's journey from the workhouse to London's underworld with Fagin and the pickpocket gang, but with a positive, Christmas time ending that emphasizes finding a loving home rather than the darker aspects of the original story. The show features original songs, audience participation, and traditional carols, providing a "Christmas sparkle" and a hopeful conclusion for a young audience. Light refreshments will be provided after each performance downstairs.
