Olympus Macro photo Workshop at the National Botanical garden of Wales
On the 16th November we will have a unique opportunity to use the brand new Olympus 30mm f3.5 Macro lens as well as other equipment from their brand. The day will involve a lot around the various techniques of macro photography as well as showing some of the unique features of the brand. There will be plenty of gear for attendees to use so even if you do not own any Olympus equipment then please feel free to come along and see what the Micro Four Thirds system has to offer over bigger Dslr gear. We do recommend bringing your own SD memory cards as you can then see the results in your own time and also a tripod. The Botanic gardens has a vast amount of subjects to photograph from many different species of plants and flowers to their new butterfly house with a variety of different species.
There will be two workshops available, the first will be from 09:30am to 12:30pm and the second from 13:30 to 16:00pm and these will be exactly the same so please do not book twice. We will also be providing customers with a free cup of tea/coffee from the cafe facilities in the Seasons Cafe and Restaurant, so we do ask that you print the event ticket off so that you can claim this on the day with the cafe.
The first group will need to take the corporate entrance in the morning as we are being allowed early access. We would ask if you can meet us at the Seasons Cafe and restaurant and we have included on here directions of how to get to this venue :-
