Description

‘On being a health and social care professional: individuals and organisations in 21st century systems of health and social care’

The Inaugural Professorial Lecture of Professor Richard Humphries

Wednesday 6 December 2017, 5.15 for 5.30pm at the University of Worcester's Riverside Building

As our health and social care systems creak under the pressure of changing patterns of illness, an ageing population and rapid social and technological change, all at a time of unprecedented financial austerity, the work of health and social care professionals has never been more crucial.

In this talk, Professor Richard Humphries will explore how professionals respond to these challenges and deal with the impact of resulting changes on patients, service users and carers.

The lecture is followed by a reception to which you are warmly invited.

This lecture forms part of the Autumn Open Lectures series at the University of Worcester.
