Event description

Description

Video, video, video. It's everywhere. It's more accessible than ever, offering so many exciting opportunities to engage with our audience, build relationships, increase our visibility and grow our business. The people who need us really want to see the person behind the business, to understand our values and how we can help them. Video offers the perfect opportunity for us to share just that. So why isn't everyone using video? Because it involves getting in front of the camera!

Get ready for an action-packed, practical day covering the following:

  • Why use video anyway?

  • Mythbusting - all the "reasons" you can't use video, destroyed!

  • What your audience really needs and how this liberates you

  • Content planning part 1

  • Group work - honing your message before you get on screen

  • Video time - getting familiar with the camera

  • Finding your style

  • Content planning part 2

  • Basic tech

This workshop is designed to get you familiar with being in front of the camera in a supportive and informal environment, to build your confidence, to understand what your audience wants and to start to find your unique voice and style. You'll also develop a content schedule so that you leave with a plan of action for your future videos.

Free parking at the venue.

Nearest train station Hayes (Kent).

Refreshments and lunch included.
