About this event

Come along to this free online event, here you'll meet our trustees Alex and Amanda who coordinate and run the Members' Project each year.

We will be discussing how last year’s theme "Repair, Restore, Recreate" was interpreted and celebrate the wonderful entries by our members. We will also unveil the 2025 Members’ Project theme, provide some guidance on the entry requirements and answer any questions you may have.

Our annual Members’ Project is open to all Guild members. We offer a creative theme and invite members to submit an original piece of work which fits that brief. Unlike the Members’ Challenge, entries to the Members’ Project are not judged and no prizes are awarded. The Members’ Project is simply for fun and creative enjoyment.

The Project is a great opportunity to get a piece of your work seen by others as we exhibit all Project entries at the Shows we attend during the year; Knitting & Stitching at Alexandra Palace and Harrogate in the Autumn and the Sewing for Pleasure/Fashion and Embroidery Show at the NEC Birmingham in the Spring.

Whether you're interested in joining in with our 2025 Members’ Project, or simply want to see the work our members have created you are most welcome to join us at this Free Event.

If you are not yet a Guild member but would like to find out more about the Members’ Project and all the other member benefits, visit our website to discover more. Alternatively, please contact us with any questions on receptionist@embroiderersguild.com. Annual Guild membership is £42 as a one-off payment or 12 payments of £3.95 spread over the year.

Please note that this ticket is for a recording of the live event on 15 February. Tickets for the live event are available here. You will be emailed access details to the recording by 1 March.
