About this event

Please note that this ticket is for a recording of the live event on 25 January. Tickets for the live event are available here. You will be emailed access details to the recording by 8 February. The recording is not downloadable but will be available for viewing until at least 8 March.

Join this online workshop Stitiching Along with Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn.

During this workshop Jan and Jean will select two stitches to show the ‘correct’ traditional method followed by suggesting unusual, textural and fun approaches to both stitches. Freer interpretations and designs will be shown too.

Participants will have an opportunity to experience their philosophy of handstitch and gain practical stitch experience in innovative ways. At the end of the workshop attendees will have increased confidence in using stitch in a way that will have a positive impact on their future work and be inspired to have a go and experiment on their own.

If you are using the Eventbrite app and the button to Reserve a Spot is unavailable, please click here.

We are running a number of short workshops and demonstrations which are £2.99 for members and between £10 and £15 for non-members. As well as upcoming events, members can also access recordings of past workshops at a reduced price, to watch at their leisure.

Why not join us to access this discount and other membership discounts too?

You can find details on Guild Membership at https://embroiderersguild.com/membership/

The workshop will be in webinar format (i.e. student video and microphones will be turned off). You will be free to ask questions in the chat and will also have an opportunity to share images of your work on Instagram and Facebook.
