About this event

Join us for this session of On Feminism, a feminist reading collective, at the Hunterian Art Gallery!

We’ll be discussing Sangita Gopal’s essay “Feminism and the Big Picture: Conversations” (Cinema Journal, vol. 57, no. 2, 2018). Gopal reflects on the state of feminist film criticism, exploring its history, challenges, and possibilities for the future.

All are welcome—whether you’re new to feminist theory or returning to familiar debates. Reading the text in advance is encouraged, but curiosity and conversation matter most!
