Manual Handling e-Learning Course

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require employers to ensure that all employees are trained and competent in manual handling.

Who needs this qualification?

This e-Learning  manual handling course is aimed at all levels of employees who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof by hand or by bodily force. This includes, but is not limited to, professions such as:

Ø  Warehouse and factory staff
Ø  Heavy manual labourers
Ø  Unloading and loading of vehicles
Ø  Construction and building site workers
Ø  Office workers
Ø  Delivery drivers
Ø  Farmhands

Course Structure

This course is an interactive, online format. It is fully animated with high quality graphics and a full audio voice over.  The course is divided into six accessible, interactive modules and also includes an assessment at the end.

Assessment

The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked a number of multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 75%. The answers are marked automatically so that you’ll instantly know whether you passed. If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as further 3 times at no extra charge.

Duration

It takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete the course in full. This can be spread out over multiple sessions or completed in a single session. There is no time limit for completion. Once you have successfully completed the course, you can download your certificate and print it instantly and as many times as you like.

This course is approved by The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and CPD Certification Service, as providing quality and content-approved training.
