On-The-Ground in the Occupied West Bank
Overview
Event Summary
Amid the ongoing Gaza genocide and Israel's systematic use of sexual and gender-based violence, the West Bank is under settler colonial siege. Notably, Palestinians continue to resist with extraordinary steadfastness by organising, rebuilding, and caring for each other in the face of ethnic cleansing.
Despite this, home demolitions, land grabs, and arson attacks are escalating. Both the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and Zionist settlers are dehumanising and dispossessing, not to mention maiming and murdering, Palestinians as we speak. This is a critical moment and if ever there was a time to act—it is now.
This free event brings together volunteers and human rights observers from the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) to share their experiences of taking direct action against the occupation, breaking the isolation of apartheid, and building relationships with Palestinian communities across the West Bank.
