About this event
Public Health apprenticeships are relatively new, suggesting that the establishment of strong organisational culture of learning, mentoring and supervision at this foundational stage is essential to ensuring high quality public health workforce in the system.
Following on from a recent event on the employer’s role in ensuring quality training provision, Dr Michaela Brockman will discuss her findings on her research on On-the-Job training provision in England.
Dr Brockman’s research involved four different types of employers in England, and highlighted attributes of what high-quality provision and limited provision looked like.
The full research can be found here.
