Join us once a month for our book club where we read and discuss a diverse range of books. To give you an idea of the types of books we focus on, here are a few examples: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, and Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
We will decide on the book we'll read each month by taking turns. The person whose turn it is will select several book titles, and everyone else will vote to choose which one we'll read. The discussion is open-ended and facilitated by the person who suggested the book, but if they're not comfortable leading the discussion, someone else can take on the role. Nothing is set in stone!
We aim to meet once a month, in person, on the weekend, usually in Glasgow city centre at cafes, libraries or bookshops.
