On The Surface, We Smile
One of us has had enough. One of us is Drunk. One of us is Dead. One of us is a Murderer.
On The Surface, We Smile is a piece written by Joshua Ashton Harding about the perception of people around us. The piece is narrated by Jackson and Lisa two best friends talking about the facts of life and the people they encounter around them. They encounter a woman who is the victim of Sex Trafficking, Two families that will never be the same again and an unconventional relationship. All of this happens behind closed doors making us wonder what is truly under the surface.
The piece stars local and national talent from across the country all coming together in what is sure to be the independent performance of the year. Joshua Harding will direct the show alongside Sarah Murphy who will provide the choreography.
The performance debuts at the Fearon Hall Theatre in Loughborough for a two night run starting on Thursday 13th April 2017 and ending on Friday 14th April.
