Join ethnobotanist and storyteller Pridie Tiernan for a blissful few hours of nature connection, folklore, and storytelling in a traditional orchard setting.
We’ll begin with a gentle guided walk, exploring the stories and seasonal wisdom hidden in our native trees and hedgerows. Along the way, you’ll uncover old beliefs, hidden meanings, and magical connections between plants, people, and minibeasts.
Then, we’ll gather beneath the boughs for a spellbinding tale:A young man chooses the track less travelled, a Green Man sets impossible challenges only insects might solve, and shape-shifting daughters rewrite fate itself.
A rich mix of folklore, rewilding inspiration, and outdoor learning, this event is perfect for families, nature-lovers, and anyone wanting to reconnect with the wild world around them.
Come with an open heart and a curious mind—and leave feeling a little more wild.
