ONE DAY IN THE CITY 2014

Book here for the full day or tailor your experience by selecting individual events you wish to attend. Please note that some events are held at the same time, so choose with care.

All events are free but if you would like to buy a Special VIP Pass for the day (£10) visit: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/in-conversation-with-kazuo-ishiguro-tickets-11464220793. The pass includes a guaranteed seat at the Kazuo Ishiguro evening event, a year’s subscription to Harper’s Bazaar and a goody bag.

 

 For additional, non-bookable events come along to the South Cloisters: 

  • “A Walk in the Fictional Woods” – look for a travel agents on the day to book your walk;
  • Be creative with massive art;
  • Let John Mullan regale you with stories about “Jane Austen and London” (13:30-14:00);
  • Watch Helena Hunter's amazing short film 
  • Come to “London Liming”, where carnival meets the spoken word (15:00–16:30);
  • Listen to pop-up, spontaneous readings from poets around the campus, as part of the Swimmers installation.
