One East Midlands and East Midlands Voluntary Youth welcome members, partners and stakeholders to our joint annual event and AGM for the VCS across the East Midlands.
Opportunities and risks continue to litter the operational landscape for the VCS. In this period after the UK EU Referendum the expectation of further change is high but the availability of facts on what the changes may look like is very, very low. This event will provide a rare opportunity to assess the state of the sector, look at some of the opportunities arising and learn practical tips to help grasp those opportunities.
Drawing on the lessons learnt through the One EM Better Data learning project in health commissioning we are delighted to welcome Richard Hazledine (ConnectMore Solutions) to deliver our opening workshop on finding open source data and using it effectively to build your business case and support organisational development.
There will also be opportunities to find out about new sector support available, understand the current state of the Youth Sector and learn about the likely future of EU funds across the region. As usual this will also be a rare opportunity to network with sector peers.
