About Alan Lodge
Alan’s work deals with aspects of 'alternative' lifestyles and sub-cultures. Noted for covering political and environmental actions, such protest frequently involving policing operations, especially in relation to surveillance. He has documented travellers, Stonehenge events, free festivals, free parties and the Reclaim the Streets campaign. These were turbulent times with changes in law on the rights of 'gathering', protests through the enactment of the Criminal Justice Act [1990's] and the associated policing operations and surveillance.
