Will your child conquer the course to help conquer type 1 diabetes?
Children and young people aged 4-18 can take on our thrilling 2.5km course, obliterating obstacles, dodging mud and getting covered in colour. One Fun Run is a brand new event, exclusive to the North West, which features ten obstacles for children and young people to conquer, all while raising money to support type 1 diabetes research.
Please note, children under eight must be accompanied by an adult to supervise on the route, but not all obstacles will be suitable for adults. There must be at least one adult per five children under eight. There will be staggered start times, with each age group starting 15 minutes apart. If you are entering children of different ages, they will start at different times:
4-7 year olds start at 11am – must be accompanied by an adult to supervise along the route
8-10 year olds start at 11:15am – no adults allowed
11-14 year olds start at 11:30am – no adults allowed
15+ year olds start at 11:45am – no adults allowed.
Register online and pay £15 per child, and £5 per participating adult. The cost on the day will be £20 per child and £10 per participating adult.
Groups of six or more 8-18 year olds get a discounted rate of £10 per child.
One Fun Run T-Shirts will be on sale at the event - please note that there will be a paint station during the race, using paint powder that washes out... Maybe wear an old white t-shirt, or buy one from the registration area!
