"One Man and His Ball" Circus-Theatre Show & Workshop

Come join us at the Fishponds Old Library for an afternoon filled with circus skills, Truan's unique brand of idiocy and many, many balls!

Truan will be presenting his family-friendly solo circus-theatre show, "One Man and His Ball", at The Fishponds Old Library in Bristol. After the 45 minute show, stick around for a hands-on circus workshop where you can learn some tricks of your own for an hour. It's a perfect event for the whole family to enjoy together.

"One Man. One Ball. Together they are on a mission to spread astonishment, wonder and unity through ridiculous never-before-witnessed circus tricks combined with gentle humour, beauty and human struggle. Guinness world record holder Truan sends his ever-brave friend Barry (AKA The Ball) to increasing heights and bolder balances, enthralling audiences utilising his unique take on crystal contact juggling, dance, comedy and audience participation."

Trained at Circomedia and The National Centre for Circus Arts, Truan has over ten years experience performing internationally.

Doors will open at 1.30pm, show start time at 2pm til 2.45pm. Workshop will run 3pm til 4pm.

The event will be charged on a PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE format, allowing people to pay what they feel after the performance (£5 per person recommended minimum - but people who can't afford this are welcome).

Refreshments and snacks will be available to buy, including tea and coffee, fruit and other snacks.

Free on-street parking available nearby or in the Morrisons opposite (for 2 hours if you buy something in the store). The venue is also very close to the Bristol to Bath cycle path.

There is disabled access to the venue.

We'll see you there!
