Event description

Description

OneTeamGov is a movement of policymakers, service designers, digital professionals and cross-sector experts coming together to explore how to work across disciplines to make government more effective and efficient. It works with the idea that by bringing teams together to work in a truly multidisciplinary way, we can offer better services to the public, give better advice to ministers and make public services more effective and efficient. Following a London event in June 2017, group of cross-sector professionals in Scotland organised a #OneTeamGovScot unconference to expand the network on 23 November 2017.

This #OneTeamGov Scotland Fire Starter Festival event provides an opportunity to experience a short version of the unconference and reflect on the learning from the #OneTeamGovScot event on 23 November.

What to expect:

  • An ‘unconference’ format where we collectively set the agenda. Not been to an unconference before? Read Sarah Drummond’s blog about preparing for our 23 November event.
  • Connections with people from all sectors doing innovative work for public services, finding and exploring new ideas to solve policy, delivery or improvement issues you are facing
  • A safe space to break down barriers between policy, delivery, design and technology
