Are you a young BAME / female entrepreneur based in London?

Aged between 18 - 24 years old?

Are you at the beginning stages of launching your own tech startup?

Or ever thought that building a startup from the ground up might be right for you?

One Tech Talent is on the look out for young founders to take part in our 1st Founders Weekend!

Come with an idea and leave with a product!

Criteria -

  • Young diverse founders - BAME and female founders encouraged to apply

  • 18 - 24 years old ***essential***

  • Live in London

  • interest in technology or business-related subjects!

OneTech Talent’s founders weekend will help founders / aspiring founders to:

  • network and join up with other like-minded young founders; there’s a real possibility that you could leave with the team that go onto make your idea a reality!

  • meet all of the people necessary to make your product a reality

  • possibility to gain a small amount of seed investment and get onto FoundersDoor pre-accelerator

Friday 28 June evening, 18.00 kickoff - THE FRIDAY EVENT WILL NOW TAKE PLACE AT IDEALondon (which is opposite WeWork) - 69 Wilson St, Finsbury, London, EC2A 2BB

This will be a meetup for all of the attendees of the weekend section. Come with your business idea, be ready to take to the mic and pitch on why yours is the one that should be worked on throughout the course of the weekend! 10 ideas will go through; the audience will vote on these. It will be down to the winning founders to pick their teams!

18.00 - event start, networking & drinks & nibbles

18.30 - intro from One Tech

18.40 - 5 minute pitches from startups

20.00 - 21.30 - team pairing and leave

Once placed into your teams, you’ll be set the brief, which will cover everything you’ll need to focus on throughout the course of the weekend.

Saturday 29 June, 9.00 kickoff -

After a nutritious breakfast first thing at WeWork, and quick catchup with your team members, it’s time to get your heads down!

An experienced mentor will present on the following, and you’ll be able to pick their brains as much as you need!

The remainder of the day will be set up as a marketplace, and as you make your way around you’ll gain invaluable advice and support in defining the following:

We're pleased to announce that a range of interns from Diversity VC’s latest cohort will be circulating the room, providing further intelligence on how to go about fundraising and what VCs look for!

Sunday 30 June, 9.00 kickoff -

Spend the all-important last day validating your product idea and then get ready to pitch! Sonya Barlow of Like Minded Females will help you through this section too. The pitch will be in front of a panel of judges, mentors and investors.

Prizes, cash and the chance to be a part of the FoundersDoors pre-Accelerator are all on offer!
