About this Course
This session will focus on using compassion focused therapy theory and practice to understand, formulate and treat clients experiencing psychosexual problems. We will introduce some of the most common psychosexual problems, including difficulties with desire, erectile difficulties, rapid ejaculation, compulsive sexual behaviour and pain during sex. The aim of the session is to help therapists feel more confident to talk about sex with their clients in individual, couple and group contexts, and formulate sexual problems in a transdiagnostic and integrative way. This training would be suitable for therapists with a good existing understanding of CFT who wish to build on their confidence and skills in talking about sex with their client group.
