All of our on site Parent Education Service has been suspended at the time of the Coronavirus pandemic. That is why we have created an ONLINE VERSION of our comprehensive Birth & Beyond Antenatal Course in order to continue supporting you in your journey through labour, birth and early parenthood.
To attend this course you must be booked under the maternity care of Whipps Cross. You should aim to participate to classes when you are around 32-34 weeks pregnant.
This course is made of 4 Zoom meetings, once a week on THURSDAY AFTERNOONS, starting on the26 November 2020
- Part 1 (26/11 @2pm) – How does it work? Physiology of labour & birth
- Part 2 (3/12 @2pm) – How can I help myself? What could happen along the way? Medical interventions and birth planning
- Part 3 (10/12@2pm) – What to expect in the first few weeks after birth and caring for your newborn baby
- Part 4 (17/12@2pm) – Breastfeeding
By booking a ticket here you are registering to participate to all of the 4 classes.
Each class starts at 2pm and lasts approximately 2 and a half hours, including breaks.
- You will receive an email with details on how to log in (Zoom link, meeting ID and password) a couple of days before the starting day.
- The course aims to be still an interactive space for you to ask questions and actively participate!
