Join us for class 2 of 3 to be hosted online.

This session will include:

  • Induction of labour​
  • Assisted birth (Forceps/ventouse delivery)
  • What to expect in theatre​
  • Caesarean section - proedure and recovery​
  • Recovery after birth

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OTHER CLASSES IN THIS SERIES NEED TO BE BOOKED SEPERATELY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Please book only ONE ticket. This will admit you and ONE companion.

Spaces are limited, therefore please only book a place if you are certain that you can attend.

I f you book and realise you cannot attend, please CANCEL your place via Eventbrite, this will allow someone else to book onto the session.

PLEASE BOOK THE TICKET IN THE PREGNANT PERSONS NAME.

Classes are for women and birth partners planning to have their baby at Mid Yorkshire hospitals OR receiving care from a Mid Yorkshire community midwife but planning to have their baby elsewhere. Please be aware that if you do not fit these criteria then your booking will be cancelled.

The content covered in the face-to-face classes are:

  • Class 1 - labour and birth.
  • Class 2 - Induction and interventions (assisted birth&caesarean).
  • Class 3 - early days with your baby and expectations of newborns.
  • Class 4 - infant feeding and practical baby cares.

*PLEASE note that there is no online class 4, as online class 3 covers the same content as face-to-face class 3&4*

*The full day Saturday class covers the same content as class 1,2,3 and 4*
