A space to create and be inspired, and to inspire others. All makers and creators welcome!
About this event
An interactive arts and crafts session where we will learn about famous and little known artists as we use art to express ourselves and inspire each other.
We will learn about an artist or maker, consider how we feel when we experience their art and decide whether we want to try making something in their style or something of our own!
Our sessions are learner-led and each one is an adventure we take together. Depending on the interests of the children, we may explore:
- Stories and storytelling
- Social, emotional and communication skills
- History
- Design
- Science and Nature
- Drawing / painting / sculpture
- Making / junk modelling
Book your child in for inspiration and creativity with childminder and home educator, Jay Byrd.
To take part in this session, your child/ren will need arts and crafts supplies of their choice. For example:
- Paper, pens, paints
- Scissors, sellotape, glue
- Cardboard, stickers, tissue paper
- Fimo, clay, sewing materials etc.
