Our 'Beyond Beginner' Course is for those of you who know the basics ( ie you've attended one workshop) and wish to develop your lettering to make stunning creative pieces of art.You'll learn to fine-tune your compositions and balance your work and be guided through the design process. By the end of this course, you will be able to create a beautifully composed piece.So if you're looking to elevate your calligraphy to the next level, this is definitely the course for you!
Week 1: Bounce and blending - Blending Inks
Week 2: Extending connectors - Writing with Paint & Finetec
Week 3: Scale and Mini Caps - Spacing, Balance, and Proportion
Week 4: Flourishes and filling spaces - Compositions
Week 5: Refining your design
Every session of this course will be recorded, so if you miss a week for any reason you will able to watch the recording to catch up!
With Kit Ticket
You will receive your worksheets, Pencil, Mechanical pencil, Pentel brush sign black, A4 Rhodia dot pad and blank card for finished pieces.
No Kit Ticket
If you feel you have all the items listed above you can select the No Kit Option and receive the worksheets as an email to be printed at home. Bring your preferred calligraphy tools and your paper, brushes and Finetec to the sessions.
