Can I attend if I'm an ally and not part of the Black LGBTQ+ community?

No, Allies cannot attend the Black Queer Connect Groups as this event is ONLY for Black LBGTQ+ UK Adults (18+). However, if you would like to support our community please look out for our pay it forward tickets for future events.

This event is for Black LGBTQ+ people, including queer, trans, non-binary, intersex, and gender-diverse individuals. Whether you’re new to BQC or a familiar face, we’re excited to have you join our community!

How does the Speed Friending work?

You’ll be paired with someone in a breakout room and given a list of questions to ask. They range from fun and light to deeper, personal ones. Feel free to ask your own questions too! You’ll have a set time to chat before we switch partners, so you’ll meet a few people!

Absolutely! The more, the merrier. Share the love by inviting your friends to join the Black Queer Connect Groups. However, it is essential they grab their tickets on our Eventbrite page before they can join for security purposes.

You will need Zoom downloaded on your device to be able to join the call. You can access the Zoom Link through Eventbrite when the event starts if you have your ticket.

The event starts from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm (GMT). It's an online event, so you can join the Zoom Call from the comfort of your own space!
