About this event
CCOW (Christian Concern for One World) is planning an online briefing on Ukraine for churches and community groups on Friday 6th May 6-7pm.
We will share information about the history, culture and Christian traditions in Ukraine as well as signposting advice and resources for welcoming Ukrainians. There will also be opportunity for questions.
Speakers will include:
Alexandra Sevko – Headteacher of Reading Ukrainian School
Mick Pollek – Reading Ukrainian Community Centre (affiliated to Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain)
Maranda St John Nicolle – Director of CCOW
Joanna Schüder – CCOW’s Refugee Networking Officer and coordinator of Didcot Churches Refugee Welcome group
