Description

A half day training session focussing on the issue of Online bullying. This event is designed to raise awareness of schools legal responsibilities and the information needed to create effective strategies for tackling online bullying.

About this event

Each session will:

  • help you define online bullying and understand the current legal situation
  • explore trends in technology and how these may be used to bully others
  • use scenarios to discuss ‘real’ cases and explore how to manage these
  • provide an opportunity share good practice and explore Estyn inspection expectations
  • understand what to do if you suspect a child in your care is being bullied online

What will I need?

Access to a mobile device during the event will be beneficial, although not essential.

Who is this event for?

All education practitioners, senior leaders, Designated Senior Person for Child Protection (DSP) all other school staff and governors.
