About this event

Business Book Club is a monthly meeting of like-minded individuals who love self-development and personal growth.

This online meeting will be facilitated by Sue Fraser, a Business Coach from Potential To Be. These sessions promise lively exchanges and a chance to connect with fellow business minds.

Do you keep intending to read business books but fail due to a lack of time? Then create some accountability for yourself! Sign up for Business Book Club, and you'll be looking for creative ways to squeeze in some reading... or listening! All the books are available on Audible. You'll be so pleased you made the time.

October's books is '10X is Easier than 2X - How World-Class Entrepreneurs Achieve More by Doing Less' by Dan Sullivan with Dr. Benjamin Hardy

The authors challenge conventional thinking about growth: instead of working harder to achieve small, incremental improvements, they argue that aiming for ten times the growth forces you to think bigger, focus on what truly matters, and eliminate distractions. Business owners and managers will enjoy this book for its bold, inspiring approach to leadership, innovation, and personal productivity. It’s perfect for those ready to break free from limitations and create transformative results in their business and life.

Read (or listen to) the book, and then come along and discuss it on Tuesday 28th October 2025 from 6-7pm GMT. What did you like about the book? What ideas will you take away to improve your business or life? What did you not like about the book? These are the sorts of questions we'll be addressing during our one-hour meeting. So reserve your spot for a thought-provoking session on business growth and leadership.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to commit to attend every month?

No. Although it's called a book ‘club’, no commitment is required to turn up each month. Needless to say, it would be great if you did come each month as everyone will get to know each other better, which is half the fun.

I prefer listening to books rather than reading them. Will the books be available on Audible?

Yes. All the books will be available in traditional print or Audible. I’m sure most are also available on Kindle (or other e-book format).

What happens during book club?

I’ll kick off by asking some easy questions to break the ice, and then it’s up to everyone to share their thoughts, opinions and ideas. The books are about business, so we’ll no doubt end up discussing which concepts you already apply in your business, which ones you’d like to apply, and which ones

Are there any rules at Business Book Club?

Yes. The only rule is that we respect each other.

What if I haven’t read the book in time?

Please don’t attend the session if you haven’t read (or listened to, if that’s your preference) at LEAST 80% of the book.

Why are you hosting these sessions?

I set up Business Book Club to give myself some accountability, to make myself read great business books and actually finish them! Reading is so valuable, and I want to help other business owners gain knowledge too.

What do I need to do if I want to attend?

It's simple! Read or listen to the whole book before attending, and be prepared to share your thoughts during the meeting. And don't forget to get your ticket and turn up on time!
