Personalise your own set of ceramic festive decorations at this online workshop on Saturday 5th December at 10.30am. Join The Crafty Hen’s expert team to learn some new skills and create decorations that are the perfect festive accompaniment.

We’ll send a crafty package to each participant ahead of the session, this will include everything needed to join in the online workshop to create three hand painted ceramic decorations. Be inspired by a trio of high quality paints in festive colours, explore the colour wheel and try a range of techniques to personalise your 2D ceramic decorations. Choose from 3 x ceramic stars, or 3 x festive shapes which will be selected at random (including snowflakes, Christmas trees, stockings, baubles). Then settle down and log on at 10.30am on the 5th December to join your friendly workshop host, who will be on hand throughout to guide you all through the processes step by step, show you examples to inspire your makes, everyone can have a chat along the way as you compare creations. Bring a glass of fizz, or a brew to accompany you at the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for adults, with or without any crafty experience.

On the day of the workshop you’ll need to follow the link we email you (around 3 days before) to join us in the live workshop. We advise using a laptop / large screen rather than a phone where possible, just so you can see everything going on! Sitting at a table to spread all your materials out on would be perfect! A good wi-fi connection is essential.

We’ll send everything needed to each guest in advance, except that a cup of water, some newspaper or kitchen roll, and a mixing pot (eg. clean yoghurt pot, old bottle tops, etc) will need to be provided by yourselves.
