Formerly known as the In Safe Hands (Child Protection Officer) course, this 3 hour Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport: Officer Training uses layered case studies, interactive group work and personal reflection tasks to support delegates to develop key skills and knowledge required to promote the wellbeing of children and young people in sport, as well as to respond effectively to concerns of harm or abuse. It is most suitable for those acting as the club child protection officer, but is also relevant for those responsible for managing and organising the club.

Note: Prior attendance at a Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport workshop is a pre-requisite for this course so please do not register for a place if you have not completed this training. Note there is a minimum attendance age of 18 years old for this officer training.
