The purpose of our Coaching & Mentoring Refresher events is to provide on-going skills refreshers for anyone working in a mentoring/coaching or leadership role in Wales and to provide an opportunity to network, and share ideas and best practice.
This session will explore Reflection and Reflective Practice. How can we reach a deeper state of reflection that will help us to challenge our own assumptions and pre-conceived ideas, allowing us to become a more effective coach and mentor? How we can bring these skills to our clients in order to help uncover and challenge patterns of behaviour and thinking processes?
The session will consider the ideas of reflection and reflexive practice as a tool for helping our coachees/mentees understand and learn from their actions and helping ourselves to consider the “Being” as well as the “Doing”

Diben ein digwyddiadau diweddaru Hyfforddi a Mentora yw darparu cyrsiau diweddaru sgiliau parhaus ar gyfer unrhyw un sy’n gweithio mewn rôl mentora/hyfforddi neu arweinyddiaeth yng Nghymru a rhoi cyfle i rwydweithio, a rhannu syniadau a’r arferion gorau.
Bydd y sesiwn hon yn archwilio Dulliau Myfyrio ac Ymarfer Atgyrchol. Sut y gallwn gyrraedd cyflwr dyfnach o fyfyrio a fydd yn ein cynorthwyo i herio ein tybiadau a’n syniadau rhagdybiedig, gan ein galluogi i fod yn hyfforddwr ac yn fentor mwy effeithiol? Sut y gallwn gyflwyno’r sgiliau hyn i’n cleientiaid er mwyn cynorthwyo i ddatgelu a herio patrymau ymddygiad a phrosesau meddwl?
Bydd y sesiwn yn ystyried y cysyniadau o fyfyrio ac ymarfer atgyrchol fel dull o gynorthwyo'r rheini rydym yn eu hyfforddi/mentora i ddeall a dysgu o’u gweithrediadau a chynorthwyo ein hunain i ystyried “Bod” yn ogystal â “Gwneud”.
