This session will be delivered by Caroline Brindle, Alex Gates and Denver Cooper as a pilot delivery for what will be Day 2 of the National Mind Trauma Informed Practice Training.

N.B – To access this training, you will need to have completed one of the Day 1 Pilot Training Sessions as this session will build on the topics explored in Day 1.


Session overview:

The session will cover:

  • Mind's Trauma Informed (TI) Principles
  • Principles in practice
  • Practical Models
  • Mind's TI Toolkit
  • Facilitated workshop of local Mind (LM) services (toolkit use)
  • Embedding TI practice


This will be a pilot of the new training being developed for the Mind network of local Minds, with input from West Sussex and Tameside, Oldham and Glossop (TOG) Mind, and there will be a chance to give feedback on further development.
