This is a great workshop if you want to up-cycle an old frame and make some gorgeous embroidery wall art or add a bit of texture to a cushion. This is such a fun diy interiors project plus you get to learn new embroidery skills!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN...

This will be a 1 hour online class where you will learn couching embroidery - we will show you different variations of couching embroidery for different sections of the art work.

All materials will be supplied by Restoration London and sent out to you in a pack - we will also do our best to match the fabrics and embroidery thread to your favourite colours!

The size of the artwork will be 8” x 6” so will fit in a small picture frame of that size. Please note, the picture frame is not included in the workshop.

You probably won’t finish the piece within the hour - but not to worry! We will also provide you with a recording of the workshop so that you can refer back to it at a time that’s most convenient for you!

We will provide you with all the materials you will need in a pack and post to your address. In the pack you will receive the following:

1.) Calico fabric

2.) Fabric shapes

3.) Sewing needle

4.) A selection of different thicknesses of yarn for embroidery
