Do I need to be bereaved to come along?

No! The cafe is open to everyone - whether you are recently bereaved, have been on a journey of grief for some time, coming to terms with your own mortality or just interested in the topic. Every cafe is unique and the topics we touch upon vary month to month.

I'm under 18, can I still come along?

There is no age restrictions for the cafe, however it is probably not suitable for people under 14, and we would definitely recommend that if they did wish to attend they should be accompanied by an adult.

How accessible is the cafe?

We try to ensure that we are as accessible as possible, so if there is anything we can do to help please get in touch. Live closed captions may be accessible on our call.

A safe and welcoming space to discuss all things death and dying. This is our ONLINE cafe, we also host in-person cafes in Glasgow.

Please note this is our ONLINE cafe, we also host an in-person cafe in the Southside of Glasgow - check out our profile for more details.

This cafe is a safe space to share stories and experiences to help break the taboo of talking about death. There is no set agenda and conversation topics are chosen by the people in the room. Everyone is welcome!

Please note that while we encourage everyone to share their thoughts and stories, this is not intended as grief support or counselling.

When you register you will receive details of how to join the call. We use MS Teams to host this cafe.
