Customers, suppliers, staff and stakeholders (including business owners themselves) are increasingly concerned about the effects that their actions and purchase decisions have on the environment.
They expect ‘Green Growth’.
Piecemeal or ‘lip-service’ environmental actions or plans, taken to reduce the environmental footprint of a business, will be seen as such. Whatever the size of your business it is increasingly important for your future business growth to stay relevant by reviewing, or putting in place, an environmental strategy that will embrace all your business activities: an environmental strategy that is an integral part of your overall business strategy.
The online Eco Strategy business training programme is built around a live interactive webinar session. The objective is to enable delegates to achieve greener business growth. It will provide a framework that assists delegates to develop a coordinated environmental business strategy that will help both our environment, and support longer term business growth and sustainability. Delegates will be expected to complete individual pre and post-webinar tasks and will have the opportunity to review the outcomes on a 1-2-1 basis with a seasoned practitioner.
The workshop is being delivered by Michael Brown from the Entrepreneur Business School (EBS) . EBS is a network of successful business leaders, each of whom have started and grown one or more new technology businesses, raised equity investment or venture capital and led their company through a significant corporate event. They are all still active in their own companies, across diverse industries and global markets and use their experience, knowledge and expertise to bring competitive advantage to your project & company.
Whatever your business or size, this workshop is a great introduction to help you plan and implement manageable environmental actions that will add value to the way customers see your business.
This programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). For eligible businesses (eligibility criteria below) there will be no charge to your business. Places on this course will be limited to a maximum of 15 people, one person per company. With the limit on numbers for this online training event, people registering interest may be contacted to check ERDF eligibility. The Eco Strategy workshop will be followed by an Eco Marketing workshop delivered in two sessions on October 15th and 22nd. Email addresses will be given to EBS so that they can email Workshop material to delegates one week before the webinar date to give time to complete the preparatory session.
